Welcome to Great Beginnings Montessori School,
Welcome! With a new year, we find ourselves in the difficult predicament of balancing the safety of our children and staff, with creating normalcy and academic opportunities for children. Our Summer Camp is currently open at a limited enrollment, and we are now accepting applications for the 2020/21 school year on a rolling basis, pending available space.
Toddler, ages 2-3 (Foothills campus): 2-3 spots open
Preschool and Kindergarten, ages 3-6 (Springhill campus): Call for availability.
We are sorry we are full at the Springhill campus, but we encourage you to join our waiting list.
Please note: Due to Covid-related programming, we have restructured our classrooms for the 2020/21 school year. All classrooms have closed "pods" when children only interact with the children and teachers in their "pod." Because of this, we are no longer able to accommodate partial schedules. This ensures that the same children will always be in each "pod." For the 2020/21 year, our school ONLY offers 4-day, 5-day, and 5-half day schedules.
Our community is welcoming, and we enjoy connecting with new families. Please don't hesitate to call anytime to see if we have any openings or a wait list at a particular level. Or call to start a conversation about your short- or long-range goals. Together we can help determine if Great Beginnings is a good fit for your child and your family.
We love our school and enjoy showing you around. However, with Covid-protocols, we prefer video tours, or can arrange individual times when children are not at the school.
We invite you to call our school and arrange a time for a tour, when you can see the school, and learn more about our innovative programs.
Tour All Levels: Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten. Our tours are both friendly and informative. Our Head of School and Admissions Director give a brief overview to answer questions and demonstrate Montessori lessons. You may then take a tour of the Springhill and/ or Foothills campus.
Again, because of Covid-related operations, we ask that you clarify beforehand whether you plan to bring your child(ren) with you; all applicants will also have the opportunity to visit later during the admissions process.
We accept students with learning challenges on an individual basis and when we are confident that we can meet their needs. If you would like to discuss whether GBMS may be a fit for your child, please contact us.
In the meantime, visit our website to learn more about the magic of Montessori education, the lifelong value of experiential learning, and the core values that unite our growing campus(es).
We look forward to seeing you!
